THE VOLKSWAGEN PAVILION
With an interior that was completely redesigned in 2011, the Volkswagen pavilion takes its visitors on a journey through the diverse world of Volkswagen. The centrepiece of the pavilion - a glass cube measuring 25 x 25 metres and a height of 21 metres - is the media sculpture “Markenkern” (core of the brand). The approximately 700 000 LEDs on its outer skin form the so-called “brandstream” which, on a surface of about 155 square metres, wraps itself around the sculpture and illuminates it in every conceivable colour.
