We invite you to test drive one of our electric cars. Our instructors will be glad to welcome you in our Mobideck next to the Autostadt Service Building and will accompany you on a drive around Wolfsburg. In the Mobideck you can sign up for the "Driving Experience" and learn more about electric cars.

E-mobility simply explained
Autostadt instructors provide a detailed briefing with tips on electric driving before going out on the road. They also answer frequently asked questions like "What is energy recuperation?" or "Why does an electric vehicle require less maintenance than a car with an internal combustion engine?"

Safety and hygiene measures for the driving experience programme

You can now book rides on the off-road track, safety training courses in Autostadt vehicles, as well as free "alternative drive" test drives in the electric cars again. To that end, the Autostadt has adopted comprehensive hygiene and safety measures based on official regulations to ensure the safety of participants. This includes filling out a registration form before starting the journey, and a piece of film between the driver's and co-driver's seat. The vehicles are also cleaned, ventilated and disinfected after each journey. In addition, all passengers must wear mouth and nose protection so that people accompanying them from their own household can also take part in the journey.
