The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg
A five-star hotel against an industrial backdrop: the Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg, is situated right next to the original Volkswagen port basin, and has a view of the four majestic chimneys of the original, 1930’s, Volkswagen Kraftwerk (Power Station).
Situated on the west side of the Autostadt, this circular building of glass and natural stone boasts 147 luxurious rooms and 23 suites. A bar, lounges and two sophisticated restaurants – including the Aqua which has been crowned with Michelin stars - complete this luxury hotel‘s offer. Ideal for presentations, The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg, offers well-equipped conference and club rooms.
STUNNING REDESIGN OF THE RITZ-CARLTON IN THE AUTOSTADT
After thirteen years in operation, the interior of The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg has been completely redesigned. Developed by the Autostadt in cooperation with Paris based American architect Elliott Barnes, the new design instils an atmosphere of luxury and comfort through a sense of cosiness and warmth. The focus of the new design concept is on the well-being of hotel guests. A cosy atmosphere is created by an interplay of colours, shapes and textures. Wood, leather, glass, stone and other natural materials are prominent, combining pleasant, sensuous surfaces with exquisite quality.
